The characteristics and application environments of PVC label stickers follows:

Transparent PVC self-adhesive label materials generally can't withstand very high temperatures. PVC self-adhesive labels generally can withstand temperatures of about 80 degrees, 

while PET self-adhesive labels have better heat resistance and can withstand temperatures above 100 degrees without deformation or detachment.

PVC has non-flammability, high strength, resistance to climate change, and excellent geometric stability. It also has strong resistance to oxidants, reductants, and strong acids. 

In addition, due to its good flexibility, shrinkability, and opacity, it has good processing and labeling performance, 

strong resistance to chemical corrosion, and is firm and durable, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use.

However, the thermal stability and light resistance of PVC are poor. It can start to decompose and release hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas above 140°C, 

which is not conducive to environmental protection (alkaline stabilizers and HCl are often added in actual production to inhibit its catalytic cracking reaction). 

And in the manufacturing process, some toxic auxiliary materials such as plasticizers and anti-aging agents are added to enhance its heat resistance, toughness, ductility, etc. 

Therefore, its products generally do not store food and medicine. In addition, the degradability of PVC label materials is poor, which has a negative impact on environmental protection.

Because the PVC material has the characteristics of being waterproof and moisture-proof, 

it is generally often used for outdoor Warning / Notice label plate, sticker, outdoor equipment description signs label sticker, and so on.
